The De Havilland Canada Twin Otter is a short take-off and landing commuter airliner and utility aircraft seating up to 18 passengers. The first flight took place on 20 May 1965. Three main versions exist, the Series 100, 200 and 300. The 100s have a rather blunt nose, which was followed by an extended nose on the 200 and 300. A number of Twin Otters has been fitted with floats or skis. DHC built more than 800 Twin Otters until production ended in 1988.
